yeah the same way your useless trolling midget self will be staring into empty space in your dingy and miserable state of mind while your Nigerian neighbors few blocks away will be cheering their national team in next year for the world cup in Russia    .

It's not even so much about Reuben not kicking a ball in months for his club, the more shocking part was that he had absolutely no business been on that team in the first place over apparently better players that didn't make it to Brazil... But let bygones be bygones, hopefully we learn from that experience.
Which “better” players? That’s how folks were going on about “Azeez of La Liga” and he turned out to be pants. I do not personally have to agree with every single selection made by our coaches (even Rohr - and I am not just referring to the Musa debate going on here), but would nonetheless defer to their judgment (albeit fallible human judgment), not least because they have greater privity to these players in camp. Of course when indigenous coaches are involved, folks impute ill-motives.
Here we go again, defending the indefensible when it comes to his man. The better players are in DM, Fegor Ogude (Amkar Perm), CM Nosa Igiebor (Real Betis) and Joel Obi (Parma on loan from Inter Milan). All these players had better and more productive seasons than Reuben. Your man took decisions that were selfish and greedy and ended up being painful to Nigerians. Your man took Reuben to CAN2013 despite being injured and infected with chickenpox, a situation that caused the dropped Lawal to lash out at the coaching crew. In CAN2013, he did not kick a ball in anger and was named in the Confederations cup squad, a situation that led to his coach at his modest Scottish club, Kilmarnock to query why a player with a long term injury could be included in the SE squad. His name was subsequently removed. After Nigeria qualified for the 2014 WC against Ethiopia, he was named in the squad for the friendly in London against Italy and his club coach again queried why a player who had not played any football could be invited for such a prestigious friendly. Reuben was released by Kilmarnock in December 2013 and joined Waasland Beveren in Belgium on a free in January 2014, where again he had limited playing time and was released in June 2014. Despite all these, he ended up making the 2014 WC squad and you do not smell fraud? I will not even go into the agent Tony Harris angle. As for Azeez, he played a pivotal role including scoring vital goals for his La Liga team, Almeria to escape relegation, so he deserved to be in contention but again the blame for his selection and subsequent poor showing lies on the shoulder of your man. The Reuben decision cost us dearly against France and let's just thank God those days are over!
I am happy
