He looks big and commanding however was not really put under pressure despite Derpo losing.EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote:Let’s come back to this thread the first time uzoho chops goals vs a decent team.
Decent showing but still very green..It will be a good idea to introduce him to the SE framework now and give him some airtime during the friendlies.walesvilla wrote:He looks big and commanding however was not really put under pressure despite Derpo losing.EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote:Let’s come back to this thread the first time uzoho chops goals vs a decent team.
Yes let see how he performs when team plays away from home and put under more pressure. A decent performance today, but definitely need more playing time b4 considering for eagles.
Hope Rohr invites him, we need him to compete for a spot on the WC team!olu wrote:From the highlights it doesn't look he had much to do over the course of the game since it looks like Girona did not have too many shots on target. Both goals he conceded weren't his fault.
It would have made sense if it is not due to some expected 'hand shakes'Cito wrote:This your premature coronation is akin to getting off from a kiss. Phew, phew, phew! I tire for my people oooooo!
Means nothing. A little sparkle but he was pretty average in those games, in my opinion

You never seem to learn, do you? You must be a stubborn hard headed person in real life. You keep repeating the same gaffe over and over again without any remorse. From Friday Onyekwu to Nwakili now Uzoho, It seems that any new thing seems to tickle your fancy. The boy is just starting out, yet you are crowning him as Nigeria's No 1 goalkeeper already! Please let him develop. If we go by the way you reason by the time Nigeria plays it's first game in the WC next year, we will have a team of greenhorns.Ayo Akinfe wrote:Dammy wrote:Uzoho is still learning his trade, he almost cost his side in the early minutes when he misjudged a cross. Anyone who watched the Wafu Cup final and the penalty give away to Cameroon who is still calling for Ezenwa is not an enemy of Nigeria. Rohr just userd him because he had no other choice.
Now that we have Uzoho, there is no justification for Ezenwa to be anywhere near our staring line-up. All we can do with Ezenwa now is have him understudy Uzoho in the hope that he will get a club that will train him and he will come of age with time.

Its funny how you suddenly know the right thing to do is...I guess as long as its not Vince you can actually think rationally...Let them all come and battle it out (Vince, Uzoho, down to Akpeyi and Alampasu), so we can take the best hands to Russia without any sentiment. Even if Uzoho is not the number 1, its players like him that we need to groom to take over that spot and he will benefit greatly from the WC experience, just like Vince did in 2002.Odas wrote:... that's the right thing to do. If the coach already knows his 23 there would be no need for friendlies to look at other players, clearly he doesn't therefore it only makes sense to call those he could potentially pick and have them earn their spot in camp. I hope that is clear.danfo driver wrote:maceo4 wrote:Its funny how you suddenly know the right thing to do is...I guess as long as its not Vince you can actually think rationally...Let them all come and battle it out (Vince, Uzoho, down to Akpeyi and Alampasu), so we can take the best hands to Russia without any sentiment. Typical Nigerian ignorance - "come and battle it out!" yes, lets have a camp of 10000000 players battling it out! Dude! this is not scrimmage! This is a foooking national team! the coach picks hi 23 + 5 waitlisted players. simple!
As for Vince, you guys keep refusing to understand the issue. The issue is that when we needed Vince, he retired! The likes of Uzoho and all WERE AVAILABLE during the qualifiers! Had they been called, they'd have come. Vince retired! he made himself unavailable when we needed him. So, please, he should continue to be unavailable. We want to move on! Na by force??
