It's that season again!

7 Goals In 31 Games : Reuben Gabriel Eyes Nigeria Recall After Brilliant Season
Published: October 29, 2017
7 Goals In 31 Games : Reuben Gabriel Eyes Nigeria Recall After Brilliant SeasonReuben Gabriel was delighted with his form for KuPS after helping the Finnish top-flight club qualify for the Europa League in the just concluded season, and is targeting a recall to the Super Eagles ahead of the 2018 World Cup.

Gabriel notched 7 goals from 31 matches in the league, his highest tally in a single season since he moved to Europe in 2013.

''I thank God with the season because I had some problems with injuries before I came to KuPS . I thank God I am now injury free, I worked hard for what I achieved this season,'' said Gabriel to allnigeriasoccer.com.

When quizzed about his contract situation, Gabriel revealed that the ball is in KuPS court to trigger their one-year option he signed at the start of the season, but has refused to rule out the possibility of departing Kuopio.

''Everything depends on God, I can't decide God needs to decide. I need to get better challenges, the club has the option for one year, if I get a better contract they will allow me leave,'' added Gabriel.

Finally, Gabriel sent a message to the Super Eagles players and manager Gernot Rohr, saying : ''I have been following their games, the team did a great job for the country qualifying for the World Cup.

''I wish to get another opportunity to show my talent.''

Gabriel has turned out for Boavista, AS Trencin, Waasland-Beveren and Kilmarnock FC, and was a member of the Super Eagles squad at the 2013 Nations Cup and 2014 World Cup.

We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Yes, if he had the country's best interest at heart
And why would you think he doesn't believe that being able to feed his family is in the country's "best" interest?

Oga Gotti, does he have a family to feed? What does anyone here know about his personal life? And what does feeding his family have to do with anything?

Actually, you know what - forget it - I don't really care.

Of course, he has a family or did you think he gave birth to himself?

But that was hardly the point, and if you and Dummy do not get what was so obviously a facetious remark, you know what - forget it - I don't really give two forks! SDMH
