I am watching him against Cagliari, he came on in the 55th minute when scores were 1-1 and just scored a headed goal to make it 2-1 to Torino. This is his first game after being injured for over a month.

Joel is really pumped up and could've had a hat-trick. If this boy stays fit, he would be an asset to the SE. He has changed the game for Torino when he replaced the ineffective breda, Afriyie Acquah.

I am watching Joel against Inter Milan at the Sam Siro and he is having a solid game. He could replace the injured Onazi in the games against Algeria and Argentina.

But one small problem - Rohr has not invited him!

I think Obi is a great player, but we need to let him focus on his club career.

Just tuning in and first thing I saw was Obi being led of the field for treatment presumably (or even subbed)?

Just replaced by Aquah. Doesn't look 100% sharp - still on the mend

Nah, he put in a stellar shift today...
Think they just don't want to risk a possible concussion.

I am currently watching Joel Obi in action against Chievo. He set up the equalizer with a pin point cross to the head of Basselli. Scores is 1-1 at half-time.

Etebo ain't going nowhere. He is too versatile and gives us cover at multiple positions. Meanwhile, Joel needs to prove that he can stay healthy for a sustained period. If he does that Rohr will give him a chance.
