Surely 6 would be average; 7 a good game; 8 plus a really good game. 5 and below then below average to poor. And should a score of 10 mean an absence of mistakes? A player scores a hat trick and has two assists but completes 90% of his passes - you won't give him 10?
Sure the player would get a ten as what you have described fits the bill and actually does a bit more. However, I would not split hairs between a player getting an 8 or 7 in different systems. You will note that divergence of grades normally increases as the grading range increases. To have grading scores converge you will need a scale that may be limited from 1-5.
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics
