[1] Surely there has got to be minimum standards a pitch meets before it can be used for an international games
[2] Did Fifa really approve that pitch for a World Cup qualifier?
[3] I think Caf needs to step in here and insist on certain minimum standards for its members
[4] That pitch in Constantine is an embarrassment to the whole of Africa
[5] We are talking Algeria here not war-torn Libya or Somalia my people
[6] I watched the Honduras vs Australia game too and that pitch was just as bad
[7] Is there no drainage in that stadium in Constantine?
[8] I was very impressed with the stadium in Yaounde. Cameroon have really upped their game
[9] Our Uyo stadium no bad either:
[10] I remember we played a qualifier in Eritrea once and Arsenal were reluctant to let Kanu feature in the match, saying his insurance did not cover him to play on such unsafe surfaces. Just imagine the wahala Leicester would have caused if five of their players had got injured on that poor pitch yesterday.
