Ghana 1-1 Egypt: Live on Bein sports

Post by bushboy »

African refs really hate Ghana o! First, the wrongly disallowed goal in their last game, now just denied a cleat penalty this game!
Bushboy's bushmen : 1.Isaac Success 2. Terem Moffi 3. Victor Boniface 4. Samuel Omorodion. 5. Samson Tijani. 6. Rafiu Durosinmi.
Who will be next?

I am not sure the Egyptian defensive style is going to work at the top level of the game. Their defense is simply not that good and the Euro sides are far too clinical to not capitalize on their weaknesses

I do not rate Egypt highly either but remember that they fielded a weakened side against the Kenkey Bredas.

Meanwhile it looks like Congo used an Ivorian goalkeeper:

There is clearly a goalkeeping crisis on our continent. Only Cameroon is producing good goslkeeepers in sufficient numbers consistently.

Morocco too appears to be Ok in the goalkeeping department. Their numbers one and two goalkeepers man goal for Numancia and Girona respectively. Apart from Cameroon and Morocco, everyone else is kind of struggling. Very few of our goalkeepers fill me with confidence.

Uganda keeper is not too shabby.

Denis Onyango is OK but he is not of the same calibre as say Nkono, Bell, Rufai, Kameni, Shobeir, Atuga, Drid, Carr, Mulhtar, Ekramey, Shorunmu, Hamidu, Ansah, Sylva, Enyeama, Zaki, etc. Serious work is needed in this department as when I count the number of Argentine goalkeepers in Europe, I shudder.
