Nigerians have applauded captain of Super Eagles, Mikel Obi over his performance at Tuesday’s match

Super Eagles rounded off a great performance in 2017 with a stunning 4-2 victory over stars studded Argentine side in a friendly in Krasnodar, Russia on Tuesday.

Many Nigerians on social media, have however, showered praises on Mikel Obi for his leadership role in the team.

Some went ahead to encourage Nigerian politicians to replicate Mikel’s leadership skills in running the nation.

Here are the comments @Samzen “After yesterday’s amazing performance by super eagles, we can conclude that Chelsea legend Obi Mikel is a better captain than Messi.

@colleagueZoned “Dedicated, selfless, pragmatic & Charismatic, Nigeria needs more leaders like Super Eagles Captain, Mikel Obi.

@deadlyeden “Mikel is definitely Africa’s greatest ever player, only Drogba and Eto come close.

@BarcelonaPidgin “Mikel better pass Ozil + De bryune + Kante + Asensio + Isco, The man vision be like that one of Xavi and Iniesta, Na him make us tear Argentina Yansh #FT 4-2 #ARGNGA

@iamTrol “John Mikel Obi is my favorite Nigerian Footballer of all time. His patriotism has never been in doubt. Always available, always leading!

@akaebube Nigeria 4 – Argentina 2..PDP should just give Mikel their presidential ticket in 2019. He has shown true leadership and capacity.

The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics
