You probably didn’t see ogu and Ebuehi making it a few days ago either. Remind yourself that all our opinions here are rudimentary when it comes to player selections. We just don’t know enough, but when a player is repeatedly called by the coach it usually means he sees some value that u don’t even know how to see.

I didn't foresee Ogu playing that well. I no go lie. But Ebuehi, if you've seen any of his games, that is what he's capable of doing.

As for Agbo, his problem is the folks he has ahead of him (Onazi, Ndidi, Agu, Ogu). Not to mention the possibility of Joel Obi (if he can stay healthy). What he's got going for him is his versatility but that may not be enough. Needless to say, when he gets his chance he better seize it.

Rohr fielded the whole lot of them (Agbo, Ebuehi, Onyekuru, etc) against Corsica, but that's technically not a full international. Agbo is clearly on the bubble, and one suspects that he is only in the squad because of his purportedly versatility at various positions (albeit that "versatility" is of questionable usefulness given that he is a subpar CD - but he is a decent enough DM, contrary to TXJ's proclamation), and if/when Rohr finds more qualitative depth his place in the squad would become readily expendable.
