So with the Eagles back-up striker position in the Rohr preferred 4-2-3-1 formation up for grabs, the Onus is now between Obafemi Martins, Orji Okonkwo and Barthlomew Ogbeche to gate crash the World Cup team.. But Rohr most times favours youth.. Personally, i would give Obafemi this slot, because of Superior and proven experience..

Going by ageologists, dude must be in his 40s by now...

definitely not an ageologist, but 40-ish is about right, if it is true that he went to FGC Okigwe circa same period as CE's Anikulapo. :sneaky: :sneaky: :sneaky:

His Wiki Bio says he joined PSG in 1999 (at age 15, born in 1984), after having played for Lobi Stars. Not sure if he completed sec school, or dropped out to pursue a soccer career.

Wait oh isn't Ogbeche almost 50? Anikulapo was his senior in FGC Okigwe by 1 year I thick. If so, the guy is like 50.

Thankfully no be only me hear the Okigwe story. Regardless though, his joining PSG at age 15, according to his Wiki profile, suggests that he may not have completed secondary school

Ogbeche should be 36-38 (3 to 5 years greater than his football age)

He entered sec school in 1991 (age range 10-12)...

Please, when you’re slandering people name put “allegedly” since it’s unconfirmed. His 36/38 yet his able to play football at the highest level and would continue playing. UNA must think body na firewood

They already claimed he was 36 ish back then when he was at PSG, the claims just keep getting adjusted the longer he plays....

He is definitely doing well for himself. Even his football age puts him among the oldest players in the Eredevisie.

Which football age?? Do you have his birth certificate? Are you one of his confirmed contemporary? No! What makes you think that you can boldly accuse him of age falsification without any proof?? You guys just slander people name based on “who say she say” and type it like it’s official. I just hope no one slanders your name the same you’re doing to this man

This is the same nonsense that they accused Obafemi Martins of in 2002. Martins is still playing football well now and would probably play for the next 2/3 years. Africans are our own worst enemies walahi.

I was going to ask if you had any sense, but decided not to waste my time.

Good luck to him in the return leg.
He won the FA cup and he scored in both legs.

Nigerian veteran striker Obafemi Martins scored a
cracker as Shanghai Shenhua stunned rivals
Shanghai SIPG to win the Chinese FA Cup final on
away goals 3 - 3 on aggregate on Sunday .

Awesome. My initial post was based on what you started your thread with.

But I see you have updated.

Congrats to Akinwunmi.

Watched him 3x this season...
And even when he scored, a very average player.
