A bit funny how this gamed evolved after CFC scored.. Does Conte's RC mean he will miss next game?

Morata needs some rest. He is plays like he is tired

Not a bad win, considering most of the usual suspects got rested.

Well it is looking likely that they wouldn’t be caught now. Strange how some managers undo their own work late in games sha. Pellegrini removed the one player that could have helped them retain the ball and killed his own team. Shane Long was keeping City defenders busy, relieving the pressure on Southampton defence, them the Coach had a brain wave and brought Charlie Austin to a game where they don’t have possession of the ball. What they needed was a runner, not a scorer.

Also why is it not obvious to the defenders that Sterling is the most dangerous of the City players, especially late in games. He had scored so many last minute goals already this season. Yet, rather than double-mark him and make sure he wouldn’t be able to cross, they stood back blocking their own keeper. :D

Anyway let’s see what they do at West Ham at the weekend. If West Ham can defend like Burnley and Southampton, they have better players to worry City defenders. So we’d see.

Citi has so many weapons. If not Sterling, another ace would.
