Joel Obi is not a left-back Period. We are not going to start experimenting at the WC!
I am happy

What if he plays in that position during the two march friendlies and equips himself brilliantly?

There's no danger of him playing at left back in the March friendlies. None. So don't worry about that.

2 games and give her him a shirt even though the team would have taken 2 yrs to build. Thank God we have a sensible coach .

You are forgetting he has played leftback for Inter Milan in the last. That is besides the point though. Do we have anyone better to play the role?

All better at left-back. Only someone who wants Nigeria to return home early will waste Obi at left-back. Sorry.

You just did and you saw some of your own silliness in there. :D Anyone who takes Obi as a first-choice left-back does not want Nigeria to succeed. Period!

Big fan of Joel, but is he better than Azubike? With his injury record, is it worth the risk taken him, over Azubike. In my honest opinion, I don't think so. Azubike, could in all honestly play as an Attacking, central or defensive midfielder, that's how Varsatile his game is. Doubt me, rewatch the Olympic tourney. Dude made many players look good, that's always a sign of a very good player.
Meanwhile I'm not an agent, never met him, just a fan.

Yes his better than azubuike. The guy was playing at Milan derby at the age of 21 for goodness sake. Agents will rather call up backwater league guys than Seria A players

^^^Well I prefer Azubike, and please I'm not an agent. I have seen Azubike perform at the Olympics and for me, he was great. Played very well in his few minutes against Egypt. I would rather Rorh picks him, ahead of someone that can break down at any moment. That's my view, if you have yours then state.

I didn’t call you an agent specifically just a general term. Also, azubuike performances at olympics and against Egypt wasn’t convincing enough to displace an established Seria A player. Azubuike seems like another regular Dm that’s good at doing the basic DM job while Obi can fit at multiple positions. Obi is clearly better than azubuike and it’s a fact
