QUESTION: What may be going on here?

Recently, one of the invitees to join the CHAN Eagles, Hafeez Aremu, was reportedly signed by Ghana's Inter Allies from Akwa United. Without kicking a ball, the news is that he has now been transferred by Inter Allies to IK Start in the Norwegian League. Aremu was one of the stars at the WAFU tournament. This has some SMELL to it, if you ask me. Anyone has an idea what is going on or what may be going on?

Think ease of doing business.

Maybe, just maybe it is easier to get Ghanaian transfer certificate without multiple people and agents claiming the rights to player.

Under Fifa rules they will. If we want to be honest, European clubs prefer dealing with other west African clubs because in Nigeria, we make things too complex. Our greed is legendary. Ik Start know that they will sign one contract with Inter Allies and it will be binding.

...official (and acceptable) trafficking of youths. For now it is painless to the kid.

Kpom. Probably with active connivance of Akwa officials.

was probably never owned by Akwa. Smells like 3rd party ownership
