Lagos looked like a memorable experience for the man, the type of event that 20 years from now, he will recollect as a fond time in the African megacity.

Image

Nairobi on the other hand looks like a lazy Sunday, bobo is trying not to fall asleep, while thinking about what the flight attendant will serve on the flight out of Jomo Kenyatta.

Image

One Kenyan to the left of the picture can even be seen squinting to count the bugs in the grass (there is not a lot going on).
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

No telling why Thierry Henry would make such a dangerous journey to Nigeria knowing the country's dubious history.
