Kai the way City played against Newcastle was utterly disrespectful. Even their CDs played beyond the center circle.
That's one of the many reasons I respect La Liga teams. They will attack no matter who the opppsition is

This Man City team is still not better than the Arsene Wenger's Invincible . Aguero is NO Thierry Henri and Denis Bergkamp is still better than KDB.

But Newcastle's coach is a La Liga extract and as Spanish as they come, why isn't he showing EPL cowards how to deal with City.

You have to have footballers first; no?

What he is trying to tell u is that La Liga teams, even small sides like Las Palmas have proper footballers, not the hacks that dominate PL

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Lots of Technical analysts here. :D

Folks been telling for 3 months now that City would soon be found out. Yet I see dropped points everywhere else I look... The goalpost just keeps moving.

Anyway, keep it up guys :)

How come a team like Hull always attempts to attack even when playing big teams, and Hull also doesn't have good players.

12 losses and he isn't in the relegation zone. Do you think he will be relegated?

I expect to see Newcastle buy three or four players in January. Their midfield and attack are in dire need of sone quality.

No professional side should ever play like this. Your entire team is within 30 yards of your touchline? You eventually retrieve the ball and you hoof it back to the opposing team...

Despicable performance... and they are in the same league?

Back to your point though. Aguero is no Henry, but KDB doesnt have to be better than DB10. He just has to be as important to City, and it does appear that he IS as important to them as Kanu+Bergkamp.

But in the event that you're not kidding, it is a testament to Pep and this team that they are KILLING all comers with a better record than the Invincibles if we agree they are not better talent-wise. Sterling is now a Messi, while Delph has become a Roberto Carlos

Folks keep saying City is this good coz they spent 200 million. But this analysis like most on CE lacks nuance.

Here is City's most played 11
Ederson
Delph
Walker
Otamendi
Stones
Fernandihno
Debryune
Silva
Sterling
Sane
Aguero.

Of that 11, only Walker and Ederson we're brought in this season. So of City's 210 million acquisition only the Keeper and Walker are currently playing major minutes.

Seriously, a RB and a Goalkeeper. In short, Mourinho and some pretty dense folks here are in essence arguing City is winning simply because of money spent. On a keeper and Righback?

Ponder this...Every player has gotten better...

Best defender in the league, Otamendi... Stop for a second and ponder that!

Best player in the league Kevin Debryune.

Raheem Sterling has scored more goals in his 1st half of this season, than he has in any completed seasons since he started playing football. We are half way through the season

Fabian Delph is currently the best leftback in the Premier league. Okay, I'm going to repeat that, Fabian Delph is currently the best leftback in the league. BTW, Fabian Delph is not a leftback

David Silva, is having his most productive season as a player. Ok, this is even more perplexing. Silva has always been great, but at 32 one would expect to see the beginning of a decline, but no he decides he is going to now add scoring to his magical passing.

Same above can be said about Fernandihno. Probably top 2 DM in the league at the moment.

Now I mention all the above players for a particular reason. They were all here before Guardiola ever showed up.

Not to mention this run has gone on without the world record Mendy or the Captain Kompany, and now we are missing Stones and David Silva is keeps having to go home to deal with a personal issue.

It's not hard to see who the difference maker is here...it's not the Money (and yes he has spent a lot of it), rather It's Pep Guardiola.

You know, the guy who has 8 players he did not have anything to do with their acquisition playing the best football of their careers. Yeah, that's the difference

Thanks Spaz, I was wondering when ppl keep talking about amount spent, but the main team is pretty much the same with the addition of the RB and GK. Gotta give Pep some props too.

Ahh I see that you have been introduced to the king of argument shifting aka Tfco
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Bro, serious questions, sometimes do you even listen to yourself speak/type? And when you do what do you think of the speaker?

Thanks Spaz, I was wondering when ppl keep talking about amount spent, but the main team is pretty much the same with the addition of the RB and GK. Gotta give Pep some props too.
You are wondering when people keep talking about the amount spent??

Bro, serious questions, sometimes do you even listen to yourself speak/type? And when you do what do you think of the speaker?
Spaz has broken it down, if you want to attribute the success solely to money go ahead, any objective person can see Pep's work improving useless players like Delph to play at WC level while you and your master keep crying about so called "dumb" players that your master keeps playing over and over and complaining about. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: Keep opening dumb threads about dumb players only for Oloye to hand you your arse on a platter with your hyper useless logic, keep it up bro :bump: :bump: :bump:

Unfortunately for you, you are fighting with yourself on this topic.    So sorry, pumpkin, I am not interested in the fight. My view on football and money is quite clear. Look at AC Milan, all that money spent and they are fighting relegation.  Anyone who thinks money = success in football does not know football very well.

I can introduce you to someone who will be happy to fight with you, though:
