Mascherani is yesterday's player. During the qualifiers, it was easy to see that he and Otamendi were the weak links in the team. Even Rojo of Man United is not much better.

Argentina are very vulnerable at the back. Play diagonal balls against their centrebacks and you have them on the ropes.

Argentina lacks quality in defense. Teams with pace like Nigeria can cause them a lot of problems.

You guys can keep lying the truth is this guy has been a good player till that last friendly he play for Argentina.What Iwobi did to him was illegal.Argentina fans are asking for him to be drop before it happen on world stage with them facing Iwobi again.

What a player he was/is. The interesting thing he played the DM role early In his career and then shifted to the CD role at Barca. Think it may have been Pep who changed his position. He still plays the DM role for Argentina
