Actually there was. It's his 5th YC of the season so he misses the trip to Las Palmas rather than the next big match against Atleti.

Just came back home from visiting in-laws and was about to enjoy a glass of whisky and a good match, when I had the bad luck to log into my favorite forum.

Gee thanks for ruining the match for me. :curse: :curse:

He scored a few of those kind of goals at Liverpool.
He is bouncing back in style.

Zee did you see how Girona had legit scoring chances?

Also for me, Messi's first goal should have been offsides because it was the same play. And Girona's goalie should have done better.

BTW, do you know that with this win, Valverde matched Pep for Barça wins in a season?

Watching the game on the green grass, they still need serious work on their defense though.
But hey, you cannot argue with their defensive stats.

Barca's defense is legit. Yes they are not 100% yet, but they are nowhere as vulnerable defensively as they were in the last few seasons. In fact, its become one of their strengths.

That said, if they face Real Madrid again, I think its going to be much much closer than the last time they played.
Real are looking really dangerous again.

Barça's defense is a bit of an enigma to me because they look vulnerable but somehow do not concede goals.
They clearly were focusing on the D all season until they played Chelsea.
Now they are sharpening their attack because it is playing like an oiled machine again.
