Why focus on the score with respect to the Poland game, then say we shouldn't focus on the score for the Serbia game? Be consistent, the score/win doesn't really matter, people here are more focused on our overall performance not the score, and in both games our attack was very blunt and the transition from defense to attack was poor. That is a fact backed up by stats. What's also troubling is that we were poor on defending set pieces in both games. These are things we need to work on and Mikel can help with all of these deficiencies. He helps our transition to attack and feeding attacking players and can also chip in with goals. He also helps defending set pieces with his height and aerial ability. And is also the leader of the team, so regardless of where he plays his club footie he is very influential to our young team.
