How many of you believe Balogun is still the player he was in 2016?

Honestly I don't recall how good or bad he was in 2016. But as of today he is an ultimate ballast to our defense no iota of doubt about it . The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Look at the results of two matches under Rohr he did not participate . He is no nonsensical defender and takes no prisoners .

Balogun needs to regain his past form in time for the World Cup. At the moment, he is a cause for concern.

Not as well as he was playing a year or two ago. Back then, he was as solid as a rock.

In the second half he was floundering, which is why Rohr took him off. Go watch the game again.

Rohr took him off because he was injured. The injury prevented him from playing against Serbia. Maybe that was why he was "floundering*.

Bro, this is one of the reasons why people don't take you serious on CE. Your narrative must always work towards your script. Everyone who watched or followed reports on the Poland game knew that Balogun was withdrawn due to injury sustained during the match but as that does not bode well for the script you are working towards, you come up with your own narrative even if it is not factual.

Balogun and Ekong remain our best defensive pairing for as long as possible, both defenders have forged a chemistry that will go a long way in been replicated by other potentials out there... We should start grooming the likes of Awaziem, Omeruo and any other capable defender to understudy Balogun and Ekong.

Here you go again. Balogun had a terrible second half in that match. He was floundering long before he got injured.

So please tell us when exactly he got injured. Leon was doing a great job on Lewandowski and Rohr only took him out after the Polish striker was substituted and his job done.i
