No one said that player of the year is to be judged by what you’ve described be in the past. So I think your reference about this is completely unecessary. I only cautioned BP to be careful about overhyping Salah since this season has been an aberration.

Also UEFA coefficient is cumulative so the best league in Europe is still La Liga. This year’s ranking is still incomplete with a marginal difference between the leagues at the moment.
