If the foreign media doesn't cover our players, it is lights out. Case in point: Ndidi got injured and we know nothing about his condition. All I know is that he was scheduled for an MRI scan to determine the extent of his injury. We have some conflicting stories here in CE, some say he is out for 6wks, some say he isn't injured. Which one is it? I haven't heard anything from a reliable source about the plight of Ndidi.
My guy, no media organisation, foreign or Nigerian, has the resources to cover players scattered all over the world. In this day and age, you don't really need the established media to find out how our players are doing. This is reported on club websites. Ndidi, for eg., would have updates about his injury on the Leicester FC website:
https://www.lcfc.com/news/677900/puels- ... uad-update

You can also find out more about the player from the local paper in the city such as Leicester Mercury. The local media in each city deploys resources (more than the national media) on following the local club.

PS: Ndidi has a hamstring strain.
