Gascoigne ...I'm not old enough to remember the oldies

But in my era, its been Gascoigne....and I'd say he was slightly underrated.

I'd give Alan Shearer an honorable mention....guy was old school, pure striker. No frills...give him a chance, and he'll punish you.
