CSN findings revealed that the Nigeria Football Federation has completed the documentations of the players who are heading to the World Cup camp of the Super Eagles in Austria and Lokosa is not included.

“Nobody as at today has forwarded Lokosa’s name for invitation for the World Cup, so I don’t know how he will make the team,” a high-level source told CSN on Friday.
“I doubt if he is being considered for the Super Eagles team at all. We have applied for visas for Austria and as you can see, he is not among those going for interview today.”

Meanwhile, the Kano Pillars striker, who has scored 16 goals in the first half of the NPFL season, is expected to jet out on trials with Montpellier in France next week.

Ok, but was he under consideration to be named? If not, why is his omission a surprise? On the other hand, how good is he?

http://owngoalnigeria.com/2018/05/12/ex ... ntpellier/

Contrary to reports claiming that the top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League Junior Lokosa is heading for trials in France, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal he is heading to Bulgaria.

Reports in the Nigerian media has it that the 24 year old who has scored 16 goals in 18 games in the Nigeria Professional Football League is heading for trails in France with Ligue 1 side Montpellier.

Lokosa as reported by this portal is still mulling over a big money move to Sudanese side Al-Hilal after his club side Kano Pillars turned down a bid from Nigeria CAF Confederation Cup representative Enyimba.

Pillars claimed he is heading for an club abroad and from our findings he is heading to Bulgarian side Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Same club where ex Kano Pillars defender Stephen Eze now ply his trade.

As at the time of filing in this report, Owngoalnigeria.com editorial team are yet to confirm if he is going to undergo trials or sign a straight deal which will come to effect after the World Cup in Russia.
