What did this so called Basler win with Germany? Was he a key member of the team. The mugrat should shut up.

Nkume please wait. Once again Anik, when did "body language" become a football statistics? And how do you measure it. Have you ever read Abramovic interview in any newspaper? Does that mean despite the fact he owns Chelsea he is not passionate about the club simply because he doesn't give interviews loud mouthing about the club?
Keep listening to bad belles? Every narrative now is about Ozil simply because Germany lost. So it was in 2014 despite the fact that Germany was winning. But you know the lasting memory i have of that 2014 WC? It is of the midfield genius, Michel Platini asking for Ozil jersey on TV watched by millions of views or do i say billions world wide. That alone says it all. It takes game to know game.
One fact you forget is that since the picture of Ozil and the Turkish President appeared the daggers have been sharpened and drawn against him.

Mesut Ozil should be benched for Germany's second World Cup group game against Sweden, according to Stefan Effenberg.

Arsenal midfielder Ozil played the full 90 minutes as Germany slipped to a 1-0 defeat to Mexico in their Group F opener – the side's first competitive defeat since their semi-final exit from Euro 2016 when they lost 2-0 to France.

Effenberg questioned Germany head coach Joachim Low's decision not to include second-half substitute Marco Reus in his starting line-up, calling for the Borussia Dortmund man to be in from the outset against Sweden.

"Low should put Ozil on the bench and bring in Marco Reus instead," Effenberg wrote in his column on t-online.de. "I could not understand why Reus did not play against Mexico from the start.

Or how about Effenberg :rotf:

You see that's the problem. Being personal without analyzing the issues. Did Germany lose because Ozil started and Reus did not start? Okay for a minute let's be blind to Ozil matter.
At the point Khadeira lost the ball and the Mexicans touched the ball for example. There was only Boateng on the defensive side for Germany. Note that at this point the scoreline was 0-0. Not as if the Germans were chasing the match. The pertinent questions that should be asked which were not being asked were:

1. Where was Boateng CD partner?
2. Where were the full backs?
3. Above all where was Khedeira's twin midfield partner.

No everything was perfect. Na Ozil make dem lose.
Have told you this stop listening to people with hidden agenda. In all this only one opinion matters. And that's Low. And that's why he is the coach and not Effenberg, nor Matheus nor the others. What's their names again?

The whole team is head scratching my brother. It seems everyone suddenly realized them too b Maradona. If only the Mexicans have more belief in themselves. They would have beaten Germany by at least 3-0.

Mugu! Eriksen cannot wipe Ozil's boots.

Just in case you missed this:
Mesut Ozil is arguably Germany's most important player at the World Cup, according to Dietmar Hamann, who has urged critics of the midfielder to lay off him.

The Arsenal star was singled out for criticism after the reigning world champions opened the 2018 tournament with a 1-0 defeat to Mexico.

Former Germany stars Stefan Effenberg and Lothar Matthaus were among those who piled in on the 29-year-old, with the latter suggesting he could be in the final days of his international career.

But Hamann feels Germans should lay off Ozil and stop making him the scapegoat.

"Ozil is a brilliant player with great merits for German football. So steer clear of Ozil," Hamann said.

"If we want to play a role at the World Cup, he is one of the most important, if not the most important players in the team.

"The hunt for Ozil was not so bad for some players, they could just hide behind him. If it works, everyone is happy. If it does not work, Ozil is guilty. And if he did nothing, no one else did anything.
http://www.sportingnews.com/ca/soccer/n ... gy14bcjm73
But i guess it didn't meet the ozil-bashing narrative.

dude Lacazette is average not good enough to make France 23 man.You think because Wenger spend 55million on him means he is good for France? He is average likes of Giroud are way ahead of him.As poor as Deschamps is he has put in a team hard to score against.
Giroud is a better player and today was MOTM.Wenger push the wrong player away but hope the new coach can make Laca be the French Henry for beloved

Lacazette is a good player. He had injury problems at Arsenal that is why he is in the French squad.
Winners do it the right way.
