Decent game. They played pretty well for a team just cobbled together for the first time we have some really talented kids that need to be blended into a lethal force. Both nwakali brothers and whoever was supplying those crosses in the first half were impressive. I pity the person who has been pushing Femi Thomas on the forum as the guy didnt paint himself in a good light today.
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

That Athletic Madrid (#5) brother is an idiiot. He is too rough for my liking

Probably. It is considered a Grade A friendly in a WC year so I am sure it does,..but it really does not matter in the grand scheme of things.

We do not seem to produce the quality of forwards that we used to...
Watching the WAFU, CHAN and this team, all the good build-up play dies in the final third.

Good game.
Shame we lost.
In my opinion, none of those players are good enough to trouble any of the Russia-bound squad. Great potential though.
Keeper Thomas was piss poor!

I have to grudgingly admit that Pinnick has redeemed himself from his disastrous start.

Yes, that's him! I hope somebody will talk some sense into him. The way I say him play is not how footfall should be played at all, not to talk of a FRIENDLY game

No it doesn't. Which country is Athletico Madrid? :sneaky:
