I cannot think of a time in my life when football - matter of fact sport -has been as blessed. Before the match I will be sure to call my mother and father and thank them for allowing me to be birthed to see this spectacle.

@K Jr, ‘tis no less than a blessing and without doubt, will prove one of the finest games the sport has had the fortune of hosting. In as much as Bielsa has blown life into the Yorkshire dales, all obelisks of the art trace back to the Master Mason, whose rule and compass holding hand reaches down from the footballing heavens like William Blake’s Creator. The earth shall shake as allfathers draw swords in this clash of titans.

Poch is barely a student, more like a summer school kid stuck in remedial classes.
At times, try to understand the reason for the post. Bielsa is Pochettino's mentor in coaching and Poch models himself on this guy.

@kajifu - it will not be as easy as you think. Perhaps the higher quality of Spurs players would be the decider.

Another 3-0 hammering of Norwich at Carrow Road today. Bielsa is doing a Guadiola in the Championship.

What a game! While a layman will look at the score and conclude that the game was bereft of entertainment value, true scholars such as ourselves would have watched in amazement while the two preeminent minds in football matched each other wit for bloody wit. A top of the table clash that truly lived up to it's billing. When they said football was coming home perhaps this was what was being referred to - a season that will remain in the minds of fans forever, and forever alter the landscape of English football - and not the temporary celebrations brought by a gold gilded trophy.

What a game...Not ‘arf. A good old British belter. Days like such, dipped in displays of Victorian-like industry, pour scorn on the scaremongering rhetoric of Brexit Britain. Graft and plenty of it. Tackles, all in, every chip pushed forward. Crosses, fizzed. Headers, flush. Corners, check. Free kicks, check. Thrown-ins, don’t mind if I do. Has there ever been a more exact stalemate? A perfect inertia of two opposing forces, two leviathans, each occupying equal spacing within this ocean deep. For each card plucked from the deck, Prof had its counter. For every trick drawn from the deep sleeve, a keen eye to sight the sleight of hand. Twelve rounds, hammer and tong apiece, a draw was the perfect reward.

It is often said that in defeat there is a lesson learned, it is without the darkest shadow of any doubt that we and not the all knowing Guardfather are the ones who are being taught and will learn this lesson.

A learning curve is a learning curve, besides the major story of the weekend should not be about Bielsa's stumbles but how the great Pulis is once again the top of Mt. Olympus eye to eye with the gods themselves.

None but the epitome of normalcy. Who beyond Hercules himself would top Olympus, wrestle the thunder free from the palm of Zeus, whilst others jolly and jive with chimeras to imagine dragons. What is a mason but a master and a master mason, that and more. The finest of the finery, leviathan in the land of the giants. Professional Professor of the Sciences.

We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

No longer alone, as of tonight Bielsa and Pulis both stand honorably at the top of Pride Rock (along with Chris Wilder) face to face, blow to blow, robust tackle to robust tackle. It is rather poetic that almost 155 years to the day that the FA was first formed, the vision of football and world peace is being realized in the home of football's true premier competition.

Two of the game’s greatest gladiators...only a fool would’ve turned attentions away from the labyrinth that is the Championship and peered towards the lesser event, UEFA’s Champions league. Bielsa has given chase with confidence and conviction in each stride. Long grows the distance between the King and the chasing pack. If ever there were a perfect act to follow, a master to apprentice, the Professional Professor of the Sciences. ‘Tis no surprise that Bielsa, having picked his act to follow, is fairing well.
