Have you considered that Ramadan may have played a role. Egypt,Tunisia, conceded late goals. So did Morocco but it was against another majoritarily muslim country. If these guys were fasting, they may not have come to the tournament 100% fit. Just saying.
..or implying the fasting was a waste of time since there is no God?
If these guys were fasting for Allah, then Allah should have made it possible for then to play 90min at 100%

Stop telling God/Allah what do do. Where in the Koran or the Bible is playing 90 minutes mentioned?Rawlings wrote:The Bible & Korancamex wrote:says who?Rawlings wrote:"with God all things are possible"...so say the Muslims & Christianscamex wrote:Have you ever tried to run a marathon after fasting?Rawlings wrote:Are you saying Allah punished them for fasting?camex wrote:Guys,

Dont think so. Ghana, Ivory Coast, DR Congo, South Africa, Algeria are all on the same level as 2018 WC africans.joplass wrote:I am afraid of that 48 teams WC. Some African nations will consistently take 5 goals or more.

Zero point out of a total of 12 possible for Africa
Zero point out of a total of 12 possible for Africa
My friends
This could be the worst ever appearance of African teams
At least it’s the first game and my fav Senegal is yet to play
I hope I’m wrong but we should go with evidence and not misdirected patriotism
We are hopeful nonetheless
Cheers

At least Senegal would not be scared of Poland. They will attack them relentlessly, that you can be assured of. Win, Lose, or Draw, they will not fear them like the football coward instructed us to fear some overrated primadonnas.
Can u image if the feckless coward was in charge of Senegal ?
He will tell them to worship Lewandowski and Bayern Munich. He will tell them with the likes of Mane, Gueye, Koulibaly, Keita, Sane, Kouyate, that they should fear Poland and settle for a draw.

Re: Africa so far: 4 games; 4 loses; 1 goal; 0 points
We are so desperate to make excuses that we are now pointing to Ramadan even though it ended BEFORE the World Cup. Not Egypt, Morocco, or Tunisia were fasting. We just suck and need to stop making excuses.
Re: Africa so far: 4 games; 4 loses; 1 goal; 0 points
Why is this an excuse. Do you think the players would be as fit during the tournament as players who had not been fasting for a month. Look at the goals conceded at the 90' minute.Heliopolis wrote:We are so desperate to make excuses that we are now pointing to Ramadan even though it ended BEFORE the World Cup. Who hired this guy?
Re: Zero point out of a total of 12 possible for Africa
Who hired the guy?? The guy was hired when your messiah “Oliseh” and “SIASIA” failed to qualify us for 2 nation cup and wouldn’t had qualified us for the World Cup. The guy did it with style, grace and unity. It’s not his fault that we’re ranked “49” and our best player is at CHINA while theirs is at backwater clubs like Real Madrid Barcelona. If Nigeria with this squad play Croatia 10 times (any formation) we’re not winning many
Re: Africa so far: 4 games; 4 loses; 1 goal; 0 points
This is shocking. You may also want to add:
1) ALL of the goals against African teams were scored from set pieces.
2) No African team has scored from open play.
3) Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia conceded devastating goals in the last minute/in injury time (89th, 95th, and 92nd minutes respectively).

John 12 please be easy
I truly believe it was a bad day in the office
If Iceland ends a draw or a loss
Please fire him
Before the Argentina game
I think as I predicted
It will be 2 losses for Nigeria and a draw

Another useless space wasting thread.
Didn't Rawlings open a similar negative thread, and why not continue there?
...And you guys will be wondering why your lives are full of bitterness?

Now that Asia has won a game the pressure is on Africa to justify the 5 spots
