We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14

He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Well worked but Swiss up to the task. Switzerland has earned a well deserved point.

Boring WC. European teams are running away with this. Even Brazil isn't that good. Germany will knock them out in the second round.

Switzerland have always been a decent defensive side at the World Cup for as long as I know.

I wonder why people under rate them. They are not bad.

Yes. It helps players breathe better. Vieira used to wear it all the time.

Poor refereeing performance. Never imposed himself on the game, allowed a questionable goal and allowed the Swiss too many fouls.

Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

These refs are partial towards European teams. Swiss played dirty thruout the game especially that serial killer looking mofo Brahimi who was hacking Neymar throughout thr game. He should have been sent off at some point.

Exactly. They beat Spain in the first game of the 2010 WC
which Spain eventually won.

...the story after the match is too many fouls on Neymar. Are they saying the kid should be allowed to just waltz in and score goals?

That was terrible refereeing. Neymar was constantly being impeded.

This world cup is gonna be dominated by boring European teams employing negative tactics.

You got to be joking mate. Boring? I don't think so. You find the Germany v Mexico game "boring"? Spain v Portugal? Swiss v Brazil? My guy, the first round is the best round of the World Cup because the minnows come to play in the first round. It is in the first round that the little teams upset the big. When I can, I watch all the games in the first round.
