So why was a red card not given to Umtiti for France when he handled the ball?

Apart from last minute own goal by Egypt, South America have been horrible in this tournament as well.

My beef with the inept refs who all seems to pull out the book from the arse to interprete the laws. The problem is with incompetent idiots being turned out as refs these days. Even with the so called VAR, they are still fumbling ,what next bring in robot? Bloody idiots.

Umtiti was more clumsy than intentional. Also Sanchez stopped a 100% goal, a shot on net. Umtitis wasn't necessarily a goal chance, just a clumsy hand on the box.

It was correct for Umtiti to only get a yellow and Sanchez a red.

They've added "Very Atrocious Refereeing" VAR to the WC. Referee that refuses to referee key decisions
