tfco never forgets. I'm sure he was an elephant in his past life :rotf:
At least when he was an elephant he wasn't a midget like he is now.

Is this where you're coming to look for sympathy??

Useless one man team.

Asamoah Gyan has made more WC appearances, and scored more WC goals than your spineless squad
Listen here you 5'2 midget glorified sex toy

If you wanted to be in this World Cup, you'd have beaten Egypt instead of losing to them 2-0. Instead you got caned by cranes and were put to the sword by the Pharaohs.

You couldn't ride the rides at the World Cup this year, maybe you should've been better.

You can't even ride the rides at Canada's Wonderland, maybe you should've been taller.

You got rejected by Kofo on multiple occasions, maybe you shouldn't have been so...

Well, I'll leave it at that.
World Cup Goals (since 1934)

Asamoah Gyan: 6 goals (2006, 2010, 2014)

Egypt: 4 goals (1934, 1990, 2018)

Mate I will say your fans were class. I was in Kaliningrad. Your fans were respectful before and after the game despite outnumbering Nigerian fans 20 to 1. There was no gloating but pure friendship. That made the experience worthwhile.
I say kpom 2x to this!
I was the only Nigerian fan on a coach with ~40 Croatians (with a couple of American/Canadian/Scottish fans sprinkled in) from Gdansk to Kaliningrad. The Croatian fans were all great to chat with and we ribbed each other before and after the match.
Interesting stat a fellow shared with me was that the population of 4million was declining rapidly as 100k Croatians emigrate every year for better opportunities

You know .... in the new 48-team World Cup .... Africa gets 9.5 spots.

I doubt it will be 28 years before Egypt returns to the World Cup.
Yeah 24 is more likely.

Maybe you should wait until after the Egypt v KSA tie...

I'm glad my dad passed away before he could see this embarrassment of a team in a World Cup.
My brother, calm down and enjoy the festivities. Your boys have done their best but it wasn't good enough. Not within your control. Stay blessed.

It's declined through a combination of low birthrate and economics. But this took hold during the war years and is turning around. Marriage and children got delayed for 1 - 2 generations.

Most Croatians eventually return. I have a house and plan to return there. My children get immersed in Croatian culture. It's easy enough especially for Croatian emigres in Europe, who come back often enough for stints.

Interestingly, the football academies have more kids than they've ever had. The program reach is total now. Any kid wanting to play football has an opportunity. With the best infrastructure.

Our main problem is latent corruption from the Communism era. It won't get cleaned up until the old guard dies off. Guys like Modric are in trouble because they have to pay off corrupt mafiosos like Mamic. Work in progress.
