Are the Super Eagles a 2nd Half Team?

Post by paj »

Against African opposition the SE was on from the first to the final whistle, but since we qualified we only seem to show up in the 2nd half. Is it because of temperature abi U think it's a tactical idea from the coach? The team seems to play possum in the 1st half and then spring to life in the 2nd. Could it be that they use the 1st half to study the opponent and after halftime talk they execute?

We’re not aggressive enough. We seem to pass the ball around in the first half.
