World Cup Winner Pick *Disclaimer:if Nigeria does not win it

Post by asabe »

Since all the teams have been played, who do you think is the likely winner. Give the top three teams in the order of the most likely *if Nigeria does not win it.

1. Spain
2. Germany
3. Brazil

Belgium has a very breachable defense. Let’s see when they play a good team with something on the line.

Brazil is a victim of positive stereotyping. All expect 10 goals sambaed in the net. Plus Neymar is playing like a clown.

They’ll tighten up and bomb anybody with quality chances. Let’s see if Neymar can grow up and lead.

My hope and prediction is that we will have a winner that had never won the World Cup. Of teams remaining, as of today, only France and England have won it. I am hoping those two do not even get to the final game. Enough of this stranglehold on the Cup by a few oligopolistic countries.
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics
