Uzoho - a start in born

Post by waka-man »

In my depressed state, I've only just seen this:
https://www.bbc.com/sport/africa/44554700
I'm comforted by the emergence of this young man.
Not only wonderfully talented, but an amazing head of his shoulders.
We've replaced a legend with a very promising young talent
So many of us were terrified he'd cost us goals
Instead, he's been the most consistent player in the whole tournament
It doesn't feel so tonight, but the future is bright.
Onwards

That fingertip save from the Messi FK in the first half was amazing. He wont get credit for it because we lost, but he kept us in the game at that point. Uzoho is definitely a bright spot for us moving forward.

He needs to work on many many things. But he's ahead of Enyeama in 2002. That's exciting.

Enyeama in 2002 had the benefit of starting games regularly at Enyimba. Uzoho needs to find a club where he'll be a started if he wants to improve.

Oh please, nothing special about that guy he is just average, this is why we always underperform, we exalt average players! His goal kicks are just terrible and he just keeps kicking the ball to throwing.

True.
Although the Spanish system does mean he'll get games in B teams until he's elevated
