Seriously,Ighalo and Iheanacho are not good enough.

The fact that there is a gap between Yekini's record (37) and Odegbami (22) shows that we have never really been blessed with poachers...If you look at Suarez, Messi, Drogba and even Gyan, they are all in the late 40s to 50s strike rate then there is Ronaldo

Part of the problem is we don't have the patience to let the strikers develop into that role

I have hopes for Osimhen. Hopefully Umar and Awoniyi as well.

Boss, I beg... Some of the clear chances did not even require "bonafide" strikers to convert.
Even a goalkeeper could have converted them. Example is the ball that landed for an SE shirt after the Argentine handled the ball. All it had to take was a simple control and tap in...
Sometimes it appears as though some African players are scared to score against big teams. In the 1H Argentina could hardly even string passes together...
France would have beaten this Argentina team 10-0 they way they played today.

Kelechi's game apart from his goals is wack. For someone with such a good scoring talent...I think he rushed away from the presence of God to go play football before God completed the job he wanted to do in order for him to be a great footballer.

Despite his world cup miss in 2010

he was a better striker than Igahlo

scored more goals in GwG 21 goals

Yak despite his flaws was better as goal scorer than Igahlo period

I know we as fans still have not forgiven him for that WC open miss

Aghawonder was a bonafide striker after Yekini. Per Yak, he never had issues scoring. It's sad that you don't even expect goals from Ighalo/Iheanacho. How many goals have they scored between them this year? How many games played?
