The most absurd thing is that Japan qualified based on the 'fair play' rule. But what they did in the other game had nothing to do with fair play.

Bro, What did you want them to do? Start attacking in a game they did not need to?

It says more about Senegal that Japan were so confident that Senegal will not score. If Senegal had equalized, Japan's plans to knock ball around would have been rendered useless. We are all blaming Japan and the rules (which all knew prior to WC start) rather than looking at Senegal and how they failed to get the job done in 2 consecutive games.

I just heard his version of that play. He said he had just come in, Senegal had 10 players before that moment. He was not yet in the game was still trying to play connect with the team
