Very good or excellent save by the France keeper

The so called Italian style defending will be switched to Brazil like attacking in the second half. Expect more goals from Les Francaise.

Pogba was very lucky not to have been tagged for a pk offense

A world cup of setpieces...
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Wow!! Pogba pushed Godin there. Lucky to get away with that. Players really need to stop this pulling and pushing at set-pieces!!

Cagey 1st half. Uruguay started like a determined boxer but when hit in the mouth, retrieved, spat out the toothguard, turned to the coach and started speaking pidgin " Wetin I go do now" in which the coach replied. " keep fighting like a warrior"

The second half will be bloody!

Very scrappy first half. The goal is the worst thing that could have happened to Uruguay...now they will need to come out. Pogba and Hernandez the worst French players by a mile.
