A revealing World Cup...
The difference between teams this World Cup has been luck and stupid mistakes rather than superior football. Uruguay is headed home because of an own goal and amateurish goal keeping and France are looking like a bunch of studs. Hhmmnnn
Cheers.

Re: A revealing World Cup...
How about the brilliantly executed set piece by France, or Lloris' amazing save to deny uruguay from their own set piece? How about the tireless running of Kante, the ingenuity of Pogba and the sturdy French defense?TonyTheTigerKiller wrote:The difference between teams this World Cup has been luck and stupid mistakes rather than superior football. Scores from set-pieces. Would have been a seamless addition to the 3-5-2 with his ball-playing skills. Experienced- 2008 Olympics, 2013 AFCON, 2013 Confederations Cup, 2014 World Cup. Good European experience. Your Rohr never even bothered to invite him. Of course, he went to "learn' for 2022. Imagine the likes of Senegal, Ghana, Cameroon, Zambia, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco and Congo DR waving us on to the Qatar World Cup with scant opposition. We must be dreaming if we think Rohr can take us to the next level. The YeyeMan wrote:Efe Ambrose.

Why is it that you guys never seem to want to move forward but are always content regurgitating the past?
Calamity Efe Ambrose? I mean, seriously???
The guy is WAY over the hill and was NEVER a decent center back, for club or country. Let the guy be, please.

There wining was not out of luck, but out of pure superiority against Uruguay.TonyTheTigerKiller wrote:The difference between teams this World Cup has been luck and stupid mistakes rather than superior football.
