Seriously, havent seen anything that has convinced me that England or Croatia has what it takes to beat either France or Belgium.

Guys ltke Deschamps are just born to do great things. They just have a winning aura around them....even if they are doing nothing they still emerge as champions.

Congrats to France!! Good defensively and getting better with each game. They will most likely blow England away in the final if they get there...

Dear Coach,

How do we break this French team down without exposing ourselves to the counter-attack? What a team...

Deputy Igwe. The unmovable force. @Tx, FYI, England don’t want, didn’t want any of this side. Hopefully this show of rearguard resilience, midfield might and frontline defending forwards will correct that nonsensical suggestion, Belgium were the feared option. Ganja shaped maple leafs in the roll-ups these days!

I suggest you start by breaking Croatia down first.

Tremendous defensive performance by France. Hard to believe Lukaku and KDB were in this game...

Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Will be discussed in full in the appreciation thread. Will stir up the brainstorm with a tipple of bourbon.
