Useless overrated garbage player. What did he do aside from the goal. Running the ball to no mans land, losing the ball in midfield and making that stupid face for the cameras. He will be found out as a fraudster soon enough.

How did he miss that ball in the '4m box'? I am still puzzled.

Good player not great. Pogba may suffer the curse of many fine players before him, those who came up in an era overflowing with quality. What irks many about Pogba is his lack of Roy of the Roverism, seemingly doing everything at the same pace, with that air of nonchalance. Theres an arrogance about him that pundits and media alike feel is misplaced and unwarranted, but the question is, is it arrogance of confidence in one's ability? As the competition stiffened, as the pragmatist called for more pragmatism, Pogba answered the call. As many a critique rightfully stated, many a game seemed to be passing him by, till he was able to turn it up a notch and impose his ability on proceedings. No he wasn't as consistent as Kante or as dominant as Modric, but what Pogba was or rather did, was improve as the tournament progressed, thus becoming more influential as the need for him to be, became more apparent.

Not great, but certainly good. Greatness calls for more unbelievably, perhaps another twist of the notch. He has the potential.

The guy is so useless I don't know where to start. Possibly France's worst player alongside Giraffe Giroud.

I also don't think Pogba is great. Very good, yes. And being very good, he played in a very good team that won a WC. Pogba disrupts, is involved, and happened to be in the right place at the right time.

I put him in there with Ozil, Khedeira, Kroos. Granted, a lot of variance among these folks. But all play a key role in systems that have won.

I just wish he would knuckle down (no I don't mean run like a headless chicken) but if he imposed his massive frame and did things a lot quicker. There is more to football than just long range passing

Whoops misread your question, thought you were asking why he was subbed, but yealike someone said probably nerves, we’ll never know, but he’s a world champion and had a good World Cup
