Costil (Bordeux)

Sakho (Crystal Palace)
Zouma (Chelsea)
Koscielny (Arsenal)
Debuchy

Riberry (Bayern Muninch)
Sissoko (Tottenham)
Coman (Bayern Munich)
Rabiot (PSG)

Lacazette (Arsenal)
Benzema (Real Madrid)
Martial (Man Utd)

Subs
Laporte (Man City)
Mangala (Everton)
Payet (Marseille)
Digne (Barcelona)
Depending on their group that team might not have gotten out of the first stage of the WC.

They have the POTENTIAL to be a dominant side, but they are far from one.
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

Definitely, the 12th man would've helped considerably.

Spain were dominant though, in that 5 year period from 2008-2012?

Even in 2013, they were runner up at the confed cup

They were also uninterrupted as number 1 in the world from October 2011 – July 2014

If people have forgotten in that 2008-2013 window that was 1 WC win, 2 Euros, 1 Confed Silver Medal..and I may have missed something.

Exiting the group stage in 2014 means nothing after all of that.

Spain do not belong in this discussion.

I'm still not sold on France.
(they are kind of lily-livered and the Argentina game showed that)
I feel England would have given them a very hard time if that was the final

Anyway we go see.

Germany will spank France if they meet. Watch this space.

How are you bullish on Germany but not on France?
