Everton in advanced talks to sign Watford's Richarlison
sauce: raw sauce, no ketchup.

Everton are in advanced talks to sign Watford forward Richarlison in a deal which could be worth £50m, according to Sky sources.

Richarlison, 21, signed for Watford last summer for £13m from Fluminense when current Everton manager Marco Silva was in charge at Vicarage Road.
The Brazilian forward made a big impression on his arrival to the Premier League, scoring five goals in his first 12 appearances.

A £50m deal would see Richarlison become Everton's club-record signing, overtaking the £45m the Toffees paid for Gylfi Sigurdsson last summer.

With the dust settling on the Mundial and curtain closed around a dabbing Paul Pogba, where else to turn but to the casino royale, where the nouveaux rich, courtesy of BT's big spenders, take heed to Sean Carter's Can I Live invitation, meeting at the tables that start a g up. The summer will certainly see fictional figures and mythical money, escaping to and fro for a summer break like Betty's 2.4 children. A bit of discourse on the big hitters perhaps.

Willian, a big fan, might one add, would be a sound acquisition for Barcelona, moreso with Paulinho having departed. Bounds of energy, decent work-rate and unplayable on his day, Willian has been a joy to watch in the EPL and it comes as no surprise that Barca are wading in.

In complete contrast, Richarlison represents complete madness, for nigh on £120m Everton will have acquired Yannick Bolasie, Gylfi son of Sigurd and a Brazilian flash in the pan, who barely cooked the sausage. Richarlison looked reasonable for a dozen games, thereafter, those dozens came dirtier than Joseph Wladislaw raiding a Nazi stronghold. Is this a case of Blue Mersey pulling on its pecker to meet the measure of their Red counterparts at the urinal or had Silva seen something in Kieran Richarlison, that if awakened, could be devastating?

Interesting times ahead.

It looks like Tottenham's policy is to use the same squad. This means that Lucas Moura was purchased with this season in mind. Worrying for me is the lack of depth in CM/CDM. Winks/Wanyama/Dier is not strong enough especially as it looks like Dembele may be on his way out. Is the club looking at Skipp and Onomah as stop gaps. There is a worrying lack of class in those names.

You guys are broke, the stadium project has taken all your money. Just wish for the best this season.

Broke? :rotf: Tottenham is not a club that rush out to buy players. This has been the norm even before the stadium project started. If there's any player we want and is not overpriced we'll get him, subject to the player wanting to come of course.
The same rules always apply - get rid of the deadwoods and put the money into new player purchase. We do not care excess baggage of more than 25 players

Why is it that Spanish, German, and Italian clubs frequently sign quality players for far less than EPL teams? I often see Barca, the two Madrid clubs, Juve, and Bayern sign top quality players in the 20-40 million bracket. Yet EPL teams are spunking 50 million on Gylfi Siggurdson, paying 60 million pounds for defenders and GKs, and bidding 50 million for Richarlison.

To me, this is the best Brazilian player at the moment , followed by Marcelo, then Neymar.

Willian is strangely underrrated. Just goes about his business week in week out - consistent, scores FKs, takes accurate corners, works hard, scores goals, gets assists, and Neymar gets all the headlines.

Chelsea do not underrate him. He is staying. Club not lured by the rumored bids.

Willian nothing special in him that you don't see in Victor Moses.Neymar is the gold in that Brazil team,he deserved all the headline he gets.
Likes of Coutinho are the underrated player not Willian.

Neymar in 2014 yes. Neymar in 2018 - no. Willian is very underrated.

Adama Traore: Wolves set to sign Middlesbrough winger after meeting £18m release clause
thebeeb.co.uk

Wolves are set to sign Spanish winger Adama Traore for a club record fee after meeting the £18m release clause in his Middlesbrough contract.

The 22-year-old will have a medical at the Premier League club on Tuesday.

Wolves' record signing is Portugal midfielder Ruben Neves, who joined from Porto for about £16m last year.

Former Barcelona player Traore missed Boro's opening Championship match of the season - Saturday's 2-2 draw at Millwall - with a shoulder injury.

He joined the club on a four-year deal from Aston Villa in 2016, having signed from Barcelona the year before.

After failing to score in 27 Premier League appearances when Boro were relegated in 2017, he scored five goals in 36 matches as Tony Pulis' side were beaten by Villa in the play-off semi-final.
