Taiwo Awoniyi Joins KAA Gent on Loan

Nigerian forward Taiwo Awoniyi has joined Belgian top-flight club Gent for his fourth loan spell from Liverpool.

Congrats and the very best of luck to him. Hopefully he scores lots of goals enabling us the fans to forget the Misses Ighalo barren period in the Eagles.

Ighalo now joins the list of waste pipe strikers to have played for Nigeria: leading the list is Benadict Akuwgbu, followed by Stephen Ayodele Makinwa

A lot of Nigerian forwards in that club now.. Moses Simon, Samuel Kalu and now Taiwo Awoniyi.. Nigerina forward line

Goodluck to him. If he cannot at least equal the feats of Joseph Akpala in Belgium, then he is truly useless.

Also hearing Osimhen might go on loan to Olayinka's old club Zulte-Waregem, don't get the fascination with Belgium sha, even their NT doesn't pick players from that league lol.

Akuwgbu was far better than Igahlo. Igaho is the worst striker that ever played for SE. it’s an insult to compare both

What happened to the Monaco rumor . I guess that's a false one. Honestly I had wished that was true. How come our boys don't play in French league?

When it comes to loan deals we just need our players to be at places they will play not at the biggest clubs.
