Besiktas eye Omeruo as replacement for Arsenal-bound Vida
Besiktas enter the race to sign Omeruo from Chelsea as they seek replacement for Croatian Vida - See more at: https://goo.gl/UoSbjg
I hope this deal goes through. It is now or never for Omeruo. What he needs is one full season at Besiktas playing European football were he plays every week, then a move to a big club in a major league.
He has been on the verge for too long and he has to step up to the plate. No more of this flattering to deceive!

A big team like Chelsea perhaps? No, what Omeruo needs is stability and consistency, at a premature stage in his career he is on the cusps of acquiring the “journeyman” sobriquet. Den Haag, Boro, a few Turkish clubs, fifth or so move in 7 seasons. 24 is by no means old for a centrehalf, Besiktas are a big side, with title prospects and a good chance for Champions/Europa league football. How many teams looking at Omeruo can offer the same? If the move goes through, Kenneth should just focus on becoming a stalwart at the chicken shish stadium and leave the rest to formality, with no deadlines in place.
