Mikel Agu on the verge of joining Marseille and Samuel Kalu about to join Bordeaux.
Transfer market getting interesting for Nigerian players. Even Elderson Echiejile has renewed his contract with Monaco for a further 2 years.
I am happy

I don’t want to keep beating a dead horse but the fact that Monaco wants to go on paying Echiejile for another 2 years demonstrates quite clearly that the NFF is in dire need of new management. Pinnick ought to bow out gracefully for the love of Nigeria :!:

Cheers.

This is the type of positive move a Super Eagles player should be making. Congrats to one of our quality players!

Nothing to do with his agents. It is the same organization he’s been with for a while now. They know him and are confident in his abilities. This is really about the cluelessness of an organization that saw it fit to keep all that experience on the bench against Argentina :!: :!: :!:

Nice try.

Echijele sucks dude. He couldn't even hack it in the Belgian league. If they are so confident in his abilities I am sure they would be playing him and not loaning him out at the age of 30.

He shouldn't even have been in Russia.

Didn't see what Idowu did in that game either that Echiejile with his experience and Naija pakiness could not have done 2X. This was the most whimper worldcup for Naija ever.

How so? Do you realize that Musa is, I believe, the highest paid Nigerian footballer with his move to Al Nasr based on the news out there? How much is Echiejile getting, bros?
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. Is it cheaper to renew a contract or sign a new fullback. Chelsea brought in Rob Green, sometimes it’s about quantity not quality. For what they desire, Echijele’s renewal made perfect sense.

Accusing someone of being gay isn't an accusation. If he's gay - good for him, none of my business. Still has nothing to do with football.

During that last 15-20 minutes against Argentina when Idowu was being run ragged and was clearly gassed, his experience would have been crucial as a sub replacement for the out of sorts Idowu. Very strange he did not play a single minute.
