Eye brow raising move.

Unless he intentionally wanted to step out of the country...this is too low a club for someone in ManUnited academy for so long.

The boy obviously met up with the wrong group of Niaja hustlers who promised him a SE spot in the future. He’s not teammates with Alampasu all the way from Man U . They have successfully hustled the boy.

Its surprising that other english teams are not mentioned in the article as being interested in him. This has to be better than being stuck in b sides. He should get a good amount of playing time that will increase his exposure.
We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand

I think Spain’s by far the best league.

Surprised it's a permanent move not a loan deal. Wonder if he got any offers for a permanent or loan deal from bigger clubs.

Man Utd to Feirense is a huge step down, but hopefully he gets lots of playing time and is able to use this move as a stepping stone. Hope he doesn't go the way of Chuks Aneke who went from Arsenal to Belgium and then to Mk Dons.

He is not a wonderkid then. Looks like another Nathan Oduwa.

Tosin Kehinde leaves Man U to replace Etebo at Feirense

Post by Ayo Akinfe »

Nigerian midfielder Tosin Kehinde leaves Manchester United for Portuguese side Feirense - See more at: https://goo.gl/Y6ZKrv

I hope this young man comes through. I have been very impressed with his patriotism. He wasted no time whatsoever in declaring his loyalty to Nigeria. He even wanted to train with the Super Eagles but alas, Manchester United did not allow him.

You guys hype every player with a Nigerian sounding name that is associated with a team in Europe
The fact that he is moving to a negative team says a lot about his quality. While this may be a good move for him personally and for his career, we should stop discussing such move in the context of the Super Eagles. So far our best players are those that went to Russia. We should just accept our fate and move on.

How many wingers do we have playing at a level as high as Portugal ?

Kehinde is in a better league than

Musa, Simon, Kalu, Olayinka, Dennis, Imoh

Only Moses, Onyekuru, Success, Chukwuze will be playing at a higher level

I dont see how this is a negative move, if Kehinde will be starting matches.

Etebo who is one of our best midfielders was playing in this very team just a season before

If this guy is playing regularly and making an impact he should definately be called up.

People are so short sighted.

I don't understand this talk about a "negative team". Plenty of quality players have failed to break through initially at the biggest clubs. A positive team for Tosin is one that allows him to play week in and week out against legitimate competition and grow his game. He is only 20. Etebo moved to the same club at the same age and has pushed on from there to be more successful in his club and international career. Good luck to him.

You didn't get my point. Any player can move to any club he thinks is best for him and his career. No problem with that. But no player making such drastic negative move should be considered for the SE. That's my point.

You are making no sense at all. What on earth do you mean "drastic negative move"

I have already pointed out that at 20, he will be playing at a higher level than most of our current wingers, and you call that a "drastic negative move" and that he shouldn't be considered for SE.

Who on earth are you ?

You guys think it is easy, of the 1.5 million kids playing soccer only 180 would actually play professional football at any level, of that maybe 10 would play in the premiership.

70% of the kids that sign up to be professional footballers at 18 are out of football by 21 in England. Ko EZ.
