Give a thumbs-up if you think Dangote got lucky with Arsenal

Post by Ayo Akinfe »

Dangote's dream of purchasing Arsenal does up in smoke as Kroenke gets set to take full ownership - See more at: https://goo.gl/7TxmmL

Dangote should see this as a blessing in disguise because it is very possible that he could have ended up making the worst investment decision of his life. Who is to say that Arsenal will not be playing in the Championship soon?

A change of a long-term manager generally brings all sorts of problems, adjusting to the new regime and finding your way forward. I can see Arsenal being involved in a relegation scrap this season. Maybe once they are relegated, Dangote will be be to purchase the club for next to nothing!

Dangote always made money whenever the market was skewed in his favor. He would befriend the government and soon there would be monopoly ... the script is easy to read. In the EPL with nobody to protect him, he would have seen his money evaporate into thin air! Not to speak of the ensuing backlash . Good call.

When are you going to lay off your continuing A$$ kissing while spreading false info?
Buying an EPL team might be argued to being quite speculative, but it's his money
and he is not asking you and your fellow detractors for a loan.

Kroenke is bad news for Arsenal

This is terrible news for anybody who supports the club, quite sad! What a cancer!
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT
