...And when did we stop producing players that can play football on the ground? What is with all these long ball nonsense that I have observed with the men being transferred to these girls also?!! :( :( :(

At least they are solid defensively, with all the Haiti pressure, they've not conceded and there's really not been a clear cut chance for them.

Offensively though is another matter... :(

By the way, the Nigeria coach needs to learn not to comment on every action.

That 14 year old Haitian Dumona is going to get snapped up by the US national team if Haiti are not careful.
That girl has been the best footballer on the field.

Jesu! Dumona from 30ft plus with a terrific curler heading into the top right corner.
Our keeper did well there.

Kai! Great goalkeeping and save from the Naija keeper.

Seems to me to be only a matter of time before Haiti scores cos they've deserved it!

Charlie, not just Haiti. The women's game has benefitted a lot from the US college system. There's been a massive improvement in New Zealand, Australia, Haiti as you have seen, Mexico, Paraguay, and a host of others. But then, it could be that our girls are not interested in education.

Nigerians in the US are amongst the most educated. Pretty sure there are very talented Nigerian girls/women playing collegial football in the US and Canada.

I just think our NFF scouting teams dont do a good job scouting talent outside of Nigeria.

You're correct. But 'am talking about those at home. They need to make attempts to get recruited.
