CIV are lucky to be up 2-0. They should have had one of their players sent off in the 1st half for retaliation.

Rwanda miss a wide open header. Artificial turf bounce takes a headed ball over the bar.

1-2, Rwanda pulls one back after an amateur hour by CIV keeper.

That Rwandan goalkeeper na serious liability. Rushes out again and misses the ball. Luckily the ball went out of play.

Game over. CVI escape with all 3pts, thanks mostly to the Rwandan defense and goalkeeper.

The Rwandan GK's clanger reminds me of what Alisson did against Leicester. Why do GKs do nutty things like that when under no pressure? From age 7, players get told "if in doubt, put it out". This emphasis on playing out from the back encourages GKs to take silly risks. The good thing is that the Rwandan captain was so angry with his GK that he looked as if he wanted to punch him. He actually walked up to him, eyeballed him, and angrily pointed in his face.
