NFF ELECTION DAY

Post by EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA »

it's that time again. The time we vote for the person who will run our football and hope he does as well as the persons that run our economy. :tic: Like a typical Nigerian election there're 2 formers who have decided to come back, one is a crook and the other doesn't believe that he's tired. At this point we have no choice but to rally around Pinnick and hope he gets the job again. He's done very well in positioning SE and our brand to do well in the near future. Goodluck Amaju!

Why do they want to prevent the most successful NFF Chairman in recent years from contesting?

Success is failure to qualify for two nations cup and first round exit. What a spin on success.

Ogunjobi is not it. Not better than Pinnick

Okoye, inexperienced, no real political capital.

Maigri is not better than Pinnick. Doesn't have access to NFF money to give to delegates.

If Pinnick loses it will be a major upset.

BTW why did Shehu Dikho not run?
Winners do it the right way.

Never in your lifetime had the Nff been in the financial position it’s in today. It can most of it’s operations without begging for funds from state or fed govt. it’s put in place the best long term team development strategies that we’ve seen since 94. So, yes, I don’t mind missed by 2 Afcons for that.

He’s busy running for senate. He went to court asking the judge to transfer his football mandate into a senate seat.

Amaju Pinnick returns for second term with landslide victory

Post by Ayo Akinfe »

Amaju Pinnick returned as NFF chairman for second term as he sees off challenge at AGM - See more at: https://goo.gl/4BtCUx

Amaju Pinnick returned as NFF chairman in landslide victory as he secures 34 votes of the 44 up for grabs. Two great things energe from this:

[1] For the first time, the government has not been able to influence the result of NFF elections
[2] This is a vote for continuity. Pinnick has done a lot in making the NFF financially independent and can now get on with finishing off the job.

Now, Solomon Dalung, can we the Nigerian fans please warn you - We do not want you anywhere near our NFF. You are a total liability. Left to you, this congress would not have held!
