Barca is a very NORAL, AVERAGE team without their Talisman.

Losing 0-1 to Bilbao at home.

The Talisman  strikes as usual.........sets up Munir El Haddadi to make it 1-1.

Still 5mins plus extra time to play.

What a Madrid derby this is proving to be.

Class by Lemar; some class!
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Shocking keeping by the Bilbao GK. That was a regulation save right at him. How on earth can a pro GK palm a shot straight at him - straight back into play to the feet of an opposition player.

That was a stinger of a shot from Messi.
99% of goalies would spill it. The rest would get out of the way. :D

It's turning out to be a crazy season.
I blame the World Cup for all these weird results.
But small La Liga teams are seriously balling.

He could have at least parried it out of play if he was unable to hold it.

The best he could do, was put his body behind it. He didn't know what kind of spin it had on it, if any.

He did the right thing and deflected it back to the side. Any other complication could easily have led to a goal. The defense should have cut off the returning pass.

The goalie did his job but the defense failed to do their's.

Have to disagree. Bad GK error. At that elite level, pro GKs should not be parrying shots fired straight at them into an opposition players called Messi. If he could not hold it, he could have got down and put his body behind it as you said or even kick it away.
